If someone could come up with a subjective list on here that'd be fun to debate I don't have enough knowledge of the St. Louis schools to do it.

IMO Webster Groves would be a place I would want to go as a head coach. I know they have been down a little, but I think a new coach could bring that program back pretty quickly.

Have to out recruit the parochials/privates to get kids to stay. Talent isn't what it used to be. Facilities not very good. Great tradition obviously.

  1. Westminster Christian
  2. Webster Groves
  3. Festus
  4. Parkway South
  5. Missouri Military
General St. Louis area, I agree Festus may be better than Webster Groves because the facilities are incredible and they don't have as much poaching from private schools (yet), and honestly with the classes getting evened out, Festus has a real chance to be a major player in Class 4. Webster Groves still has tons of athletes and could easily have a monster run with the right guy in place.

For the Kc area in my opinion
1. Blue Springs-I mean come on
2. Ray pec-always a solid program with good culture interesting to see how they change without kruse
3. Savannah- seems to be on the rise
4. St. Pius x- couple "cruits" from being relevant
5. West Platte-wins have been hard to come by but seems like they are patient with coaches
6. Pleasant Hill- from the other post sounds like the culture took a huge negative turn
7. Clinton-been a hard place to win and had a lot of movement from coaches
8. Southeast Kc- tough place to build a culture

I think with a new basketbal head coach this year and new football for next year, some of the athletes that only played basketball might get to play football, there was kind of an unwritten rule that if you played basketball you couldn't play football.

Also a culture change could really open it up there, Ice is a fantastic coach but the last 5 years was stagnant and didn't really do much to help the program, at least that is what I saw and heard from friends with kids in the district.

I agree with the list. But have to throw East Buchanan in as well. I have them in between Pius and West Platte

Wp being patient.
I’ve heard nothing so far. Jobs been posted for a couple weeks now. Probably won’t rush things. AD is currently coaching basketball so may be a bit before a hire. Time will tell. Heard rumors though that for Pius Coach may be interested in the job
