Based on the average Calpreps power rating of the top four teams in each district. As expected, out of the twenty districts, Class 6 has four in the top ten. But Class 4 and Class 5 share the remaining six.

#1. Class 6 -- District 3. Rating: 41.8 Howell (#6), Blue Springs South (#3), and Jeff City (#7) make this district the toughest bloodbath in the entire state. Three of the top ten rated teams in the state are in this district.

#2 Class 5 – District 8. Rating: 38.5 Staley (#4), Park Hill (#8), and Liberty North (#12.) Part of Kansas City’s tough Class 5 host of teams. Three top 12 teams in the entire state. Survive and advance.

#3 Class 6 – District 2. Rating: 37.6 CBC (#1) and St. Louis University High (#15)

#4 Class 4 – District 5. Rating: 37.5 Webb (#2), West Plains, Bolivar, and Carl Junction (#22.) The King of the Hill controls this district. Still, solid field fills out 2-4.

#5. Class 6 – District 1. Rating: 32.2 Ratings from 25.6 Marquette to 36.2 Eureka (#21.) Not easy to survive this tough district.

#6 Class 5 – District 6. Rating: 32.0 Carthage, Smith-Cotton, Belton and Neosho. Carthage appears to be the front-runner.

#7 Class 6 – District 4. Rating: 30.8 Poo, Lee’s Summit, Joplin, Ray Pec (and not counted…Blue Springs and Rock.)

#8 Class 4 – District 8. Rating: 28.0 Kearney (#9), Savannah, Smithville. Platte City rounds it out. Higher rating had PC not lost their QB for the season.

#9 Class 5 – District 3. Rating: 27.0 The Zumwalt’s versus the Parkways.

#10 Class 4 -- District 6. Rating 26.9 Harrisonville continues to roll. Center, Ray South and Grandview.

I don't know the district numbers but in class three the Odessa, Oak Grove, O'Hara is a good one. Class 2 the Lexington, Lawson, Brookfield, East Buchanan is solid. Also, Father tolton, Higginsville, Hallsville. Don't know much about class one

Class 5 District 6 is interesting just because it seems pretty level across the board. Throw Willard into the mix. I like Carthage, but won't sleep on Neosho, Belton, or S-C
