Three Rivers made another big splash by signing 6-2, 200-pound shooting guard Reaynundo Sturdivant from Sumpter County H.S. in York, AL. He averaged 21.8 pts., 12.5 reb., and 5.7 asst to earn 3A player of the year honors for the state champions.

He is also a big-time running back in football. He rushed for 3500 yards and scored over 30 touchdowns.

He had offers from Alabama St. and Alabama A & M, and Ole Miss and Mississippi St. both were recruiting him.

His half brother, Mario Austin played for Mississippi St. and was drafted in the 2nd round by the Chicago Bulls last year.

I assume this is the guy everyone was talking about earlier.

Sturdivant is a nice pickup for the Raiders. With his strength and rebounding, he will allow them more opportunities for a 3-guard look.

If the forwards they signed earlier live up to their billing, it appears that TRCC might have the best inside-outside balance they've had in a long time...

OTB, do you know if Toilier and Bishop are still around? Thanks.

That gives them about what: 3 posts, 3 forwards, and 9 guards (not really sure how many). Regardless off the number of guards this will be one majorly running team. I can't wait for the start of the season.

Hmmm... let's see...how does the roster break down? This is barring any redshirts(or defections).

Johnson- 1
Webb - 1,2
Bishop - 1,2
Pigram - 2,1
Brown - 2
Hadley - 2
Bidewell - 2
Sturdivant - 2,3
DeMaree - 3
Givens - 3,4
Toilier- 3,4
Dailey - 4,3
Ajasin - 4,5
Nevels - 4,5
Zoric - 5
Ademi - 5

Who did I forget?
