I've heard second hand that they did not recruit her. Now look at her, leading her conference in scoring and fourth in rebounding. She played club ball with my girls when she was in 5th grade and while she definitely was an athlete, there's no way anyone could have watched her back then and predicted she'd become a standout D1 player. But she took off physically - put on a lot of height - and as a player once she hit middle school. She can jump high enough to grab the rim, an extremely rare feat for a girl that is 5'10-5'11

Heard the same thing. Supposedly Western Illinois, Lindenwood and Grand Canyon only D1s who recruited her.
