Did any Bolivar players get seriously hurt Friday night? Had heard from some Bolivar fiends that a Bolivar player was "seriously injured" and they interpreted the reaction of Reeds Spring fans as "unsportsmanlike".

Sincerely not trying start anything up; was just curious about their account after not hearing anything of the sort on here.

Thanks in advance!

Emerett went down on the final drive. Looked like he landed on the ball. The fans cheered stopping him in bounds because the clock kept running. (The whole drive they had been able to get out of bounds) As soon as they realized he was really hurt it got quiet and all players took a knee. Then a cheer by both sides when he got up.

I read Emerett was taken by ambulance for treatment after the game; is he alright?

I hope so, but have not heard anything. They didnt ask for the ambulance folks to come on the field. The Bolivar trainer took care of him on the field.

I can see where Bolivar fans may have coming from now; one individual in particular on the Reeds side cheered every LR injured player (every fan base has knuckleheads unfortunately).

Really sorry to hear that happened. Please know that for the most part our fans are enthusiastic and very supportive, but not like that.

Very true, I can attest; I had just assumed it was sour grapes from my Bolivar friends, but I'm guessing that's not the case now (again, it was just one very LOUD Reeds fan ;))

Unfortunately one person can make an impression that no one wants to see... sorry about that.
