He's been embarrassed by his military from top to bottom but he can't get 300,000 troops anywhere near ready for the fight for months if not years. He is probably mad enough and crazy enough use some kind nukes. and who knows where that might be. For the military we all thought he had to be so incompetent has to drive him insane. I don't know what good it will do but there are many folks with influence in Russia calling for this to stop.

To protect itself is an interesting phrase. The Ukrainians' (et.al.) push the Russians out of all the territory that they took this spring, and walk away. Does that end it, does he follow through on his attacks if they come across the border? Does he follow through if they start taking back land that was theirs?
