  • So many options on who to examine. Yes!
  • Schiff
  • All the terrible Leftwing Ivy league elite lawyers that are appalling and easy to hate.
  • Hunter Biden's coke dealer.
  • Democrats are going to claim victory even though they have lost. The media will not cover a Trump victory. Exhibit A the IG report.
  • Trump is Godzilla. He was not doing well in battleground states before the impeachment hoax. Now he is. Drag it out.
  • Do not bring in sympathetic witnesses like Joe Biden or Hunter.

I'm still not convinced they will vote to impeach. The generic ars are designed to give cover to those running for re-election in Trump areas so as to try to get them to vote yes. Would a slim partisan majority voting yes play well in the public. Then the Senate gets to call witnesses who make their case look as foolish and hollow as it is. The libs have jumped off the cliff but many are trying to find a branch to grab to avoid the fall.

The Senate should drag this thing out as long as possible just to keep gaining in the polls.

Thats ain't what McConnell wants, he wants to get it over with quickly. I'm sure he knows how much Trump screw it up the longer it goes on.

I doubt the Senate will even allow witnesses. During the Clinton trial no witnesses were allowed to testify in the senate trial and the house prosecutors had to present the sworn testimony they used to draw the articles of impeachment.

The Senate will probably adopt federal rules of evidence which will not allow almost all of the second and third hand accounts that the house gathered.

Exactly what evidence, presented under oath by first hand fact witnesses do they have to prove abuse of power (whatever that is) and obstruction of congress???

Democrats are looking like idiots they are more every day

The obstruction of congress is pretty obvious, he told any and everyone not to abide by the subpoenas from congress. Since when is that something we all want people to get by with? The phone call that Trump himself released shows his abuse of power. You better realize there will be another dem in the WH at some point, do want him or her to do this kind of crap and get away with it?

Executive branch is a co-equal branch of government. Trump can claim executive privilege over about anyone under him, the legislatures recourse is to take Trump to court ( which they said they did not want to take time to do)

The president of the United States is given power over foreign affairs by the constitution. The Constitution also demands the president faithfully executed the laws of our country. Asking a foreign country that we have a treaty with to cooperate in investigations is entirely within the presidents power and responsibility

Dems are so full of hate they don’t care they are trying to overturn an election for their own political purpose. That kind of crap from Washington politicians is what got Trump elected in the first place

Democrats are scared American voters are going to interfere in the 2020 election.

There hasn't been a POTUS in recent memory that hasn't invoked executive privilege. If it is wrong to do so, the courts will rule that way. WHY not wait for the court rulings? It is either they think the rulings won't go their way or they don't think the testimony will.
I would think the executive branch having this right would be a good thing since it is commonly used to protect the separation of powers. I know though that libs hate the Constitution as written so they probably don't think that way.
