Class 5 (1982-2017) Public 31, Private 5
Class 6 (2002-2017) Public 10, Private 6

*Last time a private school won a Class 2 title was 2002 St. Pius X (KC). 15 years ago.

*Last time a private school won a Class 4 title was 1998 Helias. 19 years ago.

It appears the multiplier has worked. Once John Burroughs, St. Pius X (KC) moved out of Class 2 to Class 3 it has been public schools dominating the title. In Class 3 the same occurred when Country-Day/MICDS was bumped to Class 4. Helias has been the only real private school player for titles in Class 4. Class 6 is basically 3 private schools that have won titles. Rockhurst, CBC and DeSmet. The private school that has dominated and continues to dominate is in Class 1 Valle Catholic. They even had a stretch of 3 titles in a row in Class 2 in the 1980s.

Won't stop the whiners, crybabies, and excuse makers. They don't care about facts, only their built-in excuse for not winning.
You're right. The whiners, crybabies, and excuse makers at private schools will continue to throw a temper tantrum every time someone points out that their "titles" deserve an asterisk since they do not play by the same rules as publics. But we're used to that.

Considering that Class 1 only has, I think, two private schools and Class 2 doesn't have many more, that is a lot of championships for private schools in those classes.

For every private school that gets moved up in class because of the miltiplier, a government run school get moved down. Curious how those teams have fared.

also government run school Staley gets a transfer from Smithville, catches game winning pass in state championship game. A case can be made they don't win state without him. Not saying the move was completely for football reason, or if he actually moved. Might want to look into it.

Public/private has much less to do with who wins and loses than does the socio-economics of the district. Schools with a lot of poor kids struggle, schools with middle-class and up don't as much. Of course there are exceptions, but not many any more. Doesn't matter if they are rural or urban. I'm not going to go into detail about how/why upper middle class in kids might do better, or why poor kids in poor districts might not, that could take all day. Most people understand. It's many of the same reasons they don't do as well in school.
Before this gets nit-picked, I am not stating that every school that wins is rich or every school that loses is poor. Anecdotal evidence can be provided to dispute my contentions, of course. But overall, there does seem to be strong correlation.

Since 2009, Valle has played for every class 1 Show Me Bowl except one.

How are the private schools in TX Mox?

No Penney 3 times and Monroe City on Saturday.
There's only been 4 show me bowls since 2009? I was talking about teams in the game.

I get it that class 4 folks don't care about this issue because it has zero affect on your programs. If all the sudden Blair Oaks tanks and all their kids end up at Helias you'd learn pretty fast what the hubub is all about.

Here in the Great State of Texas we have separate classes for public and private. However, there are some individuals like Crusader that have been pushing for private to join the public leagues. God Bless Texas!

Ah yes, now we are building the whole public vs private on hypotheticals.

No but that's the most obvious example. You gonna head down to Nashville and catch FSU in the whateveritscalledbowl?

You gonna stay on topic? Whats another example? Or you can just go ahead and say it is just about Valle.

JB?
LN?
Trinity?
SPX was a machine until Staley opened and all the 'class 5 talent' went to public school instead. Since Staley opened what has SPX done?

Have a great day.
