Public School Championships (last 10 years) KC vs. St. Louis

Yea but when cherry pick those kids and put them all on one or two teams they might win a title or two against kc

This whole thing has to be one of the more asinine things ever discussed here, and that's saying something. I think some kind of congratulations are in order.

Asinine? No, you're thinking about the conversations comparing Mox with Steph, and the leadership abilities of Booster Bosko versus Coach Nickerson.
If I didn't know any better Joey I'd say you are becoming a fan of the Doc Guys!

Thing is, KC has really only one private school pirating all the public Hs talent.
St. Louis has many and still produces some peppery teams.

I suppose you have never heard of Bishop Miege #1 in Kansas 4A (3,000 ft from State Line road and Missouri in the center of Kansas City) Aquinas #1 in Kansas 5A? St. Pius X? Bishop Hogan?

Summit Christian, Northland Christian, KC Lutheran, Barstow, pembroke Hill.

Those just ones in MSHSAA. There are many others that are not part of MSHSAA.

AND THE question IS...are these schools getting Missouri kids. See above. And the answer is YES. Rawmeat asserted only one private school was taking all the public talent. Uh...NO.

Yes I'm sure you know your way around a pipe, but what does that have to do with the topic at hand?

That’s pretty good considering a KC Public school didn’t win a state title till like ‘92.

Yep, up until '92, you have to expand the KC area metro pretty far to include Lexington (4 championships up to 1992) and Plattsburg, as well as Orrick (only 16 miles from KC.) But by 1992, the private schools six championships...St. Pius X and Rock.

By 1992, Blue Springs had close to 4,000 students..you should be able to get a good team from that big of a school.
