There is an opening at PSU (offensive coordinator). Didn't Kill leave WC to take that same position at PSU? Tim Beck, the current HC at Pitt previously held the offensive coodinator position.

That, plus Roderique's kids are all out of WC's program. A state title this year to cap 20 years at the helm of WC. Records and stats out of the wazoo. Any chance J-Rod says it's time to entertain a move?

I have heard no rumors or suggestions of such, but there is no way I'm the only person who has made this observation.

Exactly.

PSU has decades of traditon, name recognition, and strong community and alumni support. I'm not sure how anyone, even from Webb City could consider it a step down to move to a D2 college program like Pitt from a high school.

Even if the gorillas continue a 'down' streak, Beck is gone and who better to take the helm. I believe he would be a serious contender regardless of whether he moves on the offensive coordinator position in the interim.

I understand that Pitt had a rough start this year. But, for the last 6-7 weeks of the season, they were one of, if not the best team/teams in the MIAA. Those calling for Beck's head were premature, as the Gorillas corrected their defensive problems, and got back on track. They do not lose much on the defensive side, and only a few spots on offense. Coach Rod would probably have to take a pay cut to go there. Recruiting is the toughest part of being a college coach, so why would he want to mess with it?

Beck has under achieved. 7 years only made the playoffs twice. Top notch facilities and cant be a real contender except once every 3 years
