Homers seem to love the announcing and love the guy. Ok by me as a visitor. I liken it to a cross between an auctioneer and horse race announcer.
Republic announcer has the smooth baritone voice. The volume just needs cut in half for their music and tiger growls. Good sound system though.

I was at a st dom game a couple of years ago and the announcer was over the top. I am all for homerism, it makes the game fun and if done really well, like at Jackson, i would say even vistor teams don't mind it, but I felt like he was line stepping, and so did many others.
