Currently in the US there are 7 tax brackets/%: 10,12,22, 24, 32, 35,37.

2025 wants to cut that down to 2 brackets: 15 and 30.

Guess who gets screwed? The poor since the poorest taxes would go from 10 to 15% That's a 50% increase.

Median income in the US is 74k. Majority of Americans would see a 25% tax increase.

But the rich get a nice tax cut.

Vote wisely.

I’m not saying the Heritage Foundation is writing our nation’s laws when conservatives are in power, but the Heritage Foundation is and has been writing model legislation that conservatives then introduce in congress with little to no editorial changes.

This is just one tiny tidbit from around the time of Trump’s election in 2016 that Heritage Foundation influenced (from their website):

Many of his policy recommendations were drawn from our Mandate for Leadership series of policy guides. Multiple of their laws have been passed in the Montana’s and Tennessee’s and our pathetic legislature in Mo simply took their bills and changed the name to Missouri. Not sure why we have a house of reps in this state.
