Since they have destroyed the game in almost every way, why not make a change?

Same as college, but start the first possession at the 50 yard line.

If both teams fail, move the next possession to the 40 yard line.

Then the 30. Keep playing from the 30 until someone wins.

Got to blame players union Collective Bargaining agreement is the ones that want to limit extra playing time.

I'm sure Owners and TV advertising would love long overtimes

It is real simple...… Just play a 10:00 or 12:00 OT quarter in the PLAY-OFFS only.
Extend the rosters out so teams could carry more players as well.
