Thanks for posting this Duck. I saw this a few days ago and can't agree more. Catholic Nuns are truly on the front line everyday, helping the poor, sick, dying, and needy. Truly remarkable women. Those not engaged with Catholic Church politics are probably a bit unaware that the largest organization of Nuns was called on the carpet by the previous Pope for being a bit too liberal (actually they were being quite realistic) in how they supported the underprivileged, etc. No easy answers, but this Nun nailed it.

We just celebrated my cousins 50th year as a nun. She has spent almost her entire life in South America. It is unbelievable how much she has given to others in one life time.

And yet they have very little impact on Catholic law because they are female!!!!!!!!!!!!
