Apparently you and the 2 people who like this don’t understand the term URBAN Blacks. & thats ok I didnt expect you to. Its a difference between growing up in Black communities in Kansas City and St Louis and growing up in areas where a Kid is one of 7 black kids in their entire school. But I said I wouldn’t expect you to know the difference lol sit this one out buddy.
I do. I coached in St Louis. But that’s a totally different circumstance. They’re ending that soon and the program is a shell of what it once was. The application process now is rough. And those students still must reside in SLPS. Not ANY district. So, again...when public schools can offer a scholarship to another student that lives in any other area, let me know.

You can't possibly know what it's like for all kids in either situation based on one answer to every life in rural schools or the inner city.

If one supporter of private schools could come on this thread and simply say that, without justification, private schools do have an athletic advantage over public schools then I think many lives would be complete...
Not so much an advantage if you get all your players when they are Freshman, but if you are adding hand picked Juniors and Seniors, then you are nothing more than a Cheesy Youth Football AAU hack program.
If one person on here would come on here and tell me that a public school system who can get their players together in 3rd grade and start to learn the system..let the coaches know what players can do and what they can do best and build that player to a certain position when the reach high school, get them to play together to a perfection, don't have an advantage over a school who doesn't have such a system, (public or private) my life would be complete...wait nevermind I actually have a life so that wouldn't make it complete.

Be careful. The pity train has a lot of passengers. They’d rather cry and complain than accept that a team they hate won a championship.

So do they think its unfair that one public school system has the fan base and parent/coaches support to put together a youth program that helps them build such good high school teams. I actually think such public school systems that have such a program should have a multiplier to their enrollment, because gosh darn it, it has to be fair. Its not fair they don't have parents who are willing to put together such a program and volunteer their time to make sure its successful.
They’ll acknowledge the advantage when they win. It reflects their “wholesome values”. When they DON’T win, it’s a sign of the evils of “some” private schools in St. Louis. They’re not REALLY upset about competitive imbalances. They’re just mad when Trinity is the one that wins. It’s going to REALLY burn their biscuits when they find out how small private schools are setting up their own feeder programs, just like schools down-state. At least it’ll give them another thing to bitch about.

Six of them played in the championship game and four of them won. The truth is that I’d be slapping you upside the head if you were shifting on ANY of those teams. It just so happens that y’all hate Trinity more than any of the other private schools. If I were you I’d be figuring a way to win my conference and then worrying about Lathrop instead of trying to fight your friends’ battles.

Nice try. But that only works from like Class 4 down. Class 5 and 6 might have 12 grade schools with four middle schools. These kids don't play together until 8th grade.
