How many white guys were killed in Shrubs war of choice? How many babies were killed?
Selective outrage. Its almost as if you're told what to think.
I haven't been watching any news. Where did this happen at? I'm so sick of guns and death.

I would venture to guess, not very many, because after all, only poor, black people serve in the military, right?
The average enlisted member of the US armed forces is more likely to be:
- A minority
- Not rich
- From a rural area (a lot of whites from here join up)
How about the white dudes that had a road rage issue? Apparently both were carrying guns, one followed the other home, both sides had someone on the phone with 911when one of them was shot dead in front of his family. I'm sure their guns were legal, at least there has been nothing reported to the contrary that I've seen, but if those guys weren't carrying guns there might have have been some fisticuffs and NO ONE of any color would have ended up dead!

Killer was a convicted bank robber out on supervised release program. So he was dealing or buying drugs when he should have been setting in a prison cell. Animals like him should never see the light of day

A couple of issues. 1. The "black dude" had a whole city of cops looking for him, for example the Cincinnati cop had 2 cops giving him an out, not a manhunt. 2. I doubt the guy is going to get bail, as opposed to most if not all of those cops receiving a light bail, and getting out for the trial. 3. I doubt the guy is going to ever see the outside of a cell, if he isn't given the death penalty, as compared to how many of these cops that shot innocent people?

Are you kidding me? Cops are judge, jury and executioner? So all of their crimes are worthy of the death penalty? Selling drugs? Driving without a license on the front of your car? Selling cigarettes? Stealing from a convenience store? Just blacks get the death penalty for these things? Can I go shoot the next person who steals something?

Of course they are not, but you said cops were going around shooting INNOCENT people. You have no idea at all if they were innocent, but all of them were breaking the law and the situation escalating was their fault not the cops.
This last guy that got shot in the head by the campus cop was breaking the law by driving without a front plate, driving without a liscense, refusing to obey the lawfull comand of an officer, and resisting arrest by trying to drive off, and you are saying he is inocent??

Actually presumed to be breaking the law, we don't know that for a fact because he wasn't given his day in court, you know that pesky constitution. Maybe his front plate was stolen and he hadn't noticed, that happened to me at the airport one time.
They get the death penalty if they were a threat and refused to comply with an officer's request. How many people shot by the police were because they complied with everything the officer said. He says put you hands on the wheel, put them on the wheel. He says get out of the car, get out of the car. He says get on your knees, get on your knees. WTH is so hard about that to figure out.
I'm fairly liberal, but siding against a police officer trying to do his job, putting his life on the line every day, facing an unknown when he pulls a car over at 2 am and having no idea what is in that car, is just plain a$$ stupid. Are there police that are cowboys sure, and there a good people that get pulled over for bogus reasons, but you are safer if you comply and then have your beef after the fact. Dead in not a good option.
The job a police officer is doing is not a conservative vs liberal thing. Do you people think a police officer doing his job is a conservative driving around trying to find liberals to kill. Idiots. Wake the he!! up and smell the coffee. That is one of our problems the idiot conservative are taking sides on things they may not even agree with because it's the party line and vise versa.
You know actually I had a police officer who was very polite and initially asked me if my front plate had been stolen, he didn't immediately assume I was guilty of a crime, my insurance card was also expired so I was guilty of a crime, but was told not to worry about it and get the updated one in my car as soon as possible. My question is, would I have been treated with the same courtesy if instead of being a white male in my 40s I was a black male in his 20s?
The problem is we pretend cops have magic legal authority to do whatever they want - they do not. This attitude is a part of what creates a toxic environment in a number of communities.
The conservative position is that cops do not overstep their legal boundaries.
I'm also not sure what any of this has to do with what happened in Memphis - the cop didn't really have a chance. An awful situation.

What it has to do with is the manner it was being reported. I asked my wife was the cop black or white. She replied they never said. I asked was the shooter black or white, she replied they never said. We all know if this was white cop, black guy in the car and the black guy got shot they would have told us right off the bat.
They released that information as soon as it was known. You're looking for something that isn't there.
They don't release information on deceased officers until their family has been contacted.
The shooter was a passenger in a car - they put his description out once they had it.
Their photos and descriptions are in every story. The shooter was on the most wanted list. Etc.
The idea that these facts haven't been publicized by the media is crazy - there is no evidence to support what you are saying and a mound of information otherwise.

Of course the don't release the info on the deceased officer, but I have seen where they release the ethnicity of the involved party's before and so have you . Don't say I'm crazy either. I see plenty of times in the Post-Dispatch where they don't give the race of people in crimes. I get that point. But this one? It's been all over the news. Come on. Go pull up the articles at Fox, CNN, MSNBC, AP, etc. It's right there.
You can't really be saying this is getting the wall to wall coverage that Fergusson and Baltimore got! There is a HUGE difference in the way these things are covered.

if people in Memphis riot it would be on CNN just as much as ferguson was. The story in ferguson and Baltimore was a lot more than one shooting.
