Pork is cheaper then beef, pork is healthy, pork is delicious.

Wonder why our president doesn't want pork in our prisons?

You know there are other logical substitutes for pork that are cheaper than beef? For example, the Feds replaced pork bacon with...turkey bacon. Not beef.

I would bet religion has a fair amount to do with this. Serving pork means also making separate meals for Muslims and Jews.

Do you really think that Obama is micromanaging the federal bureau of prisons to the point that he is setting their menus???

I think that's preposterous. He has an awful lot of other things to do. The day to day minutiae of running the government doesn't involve him, nor did it involve his predecessors.

Further why do I care if other administrations did it. Who cares about this period. why do I care if pork is served in federal jails? This has to be the 100,000th most important issue in existence.

Where was this outcry when Ohio prisons banned pork under Kasich????
