Italy reported 495 deaths in the last 24 hours after having over 300 for 3 straight days.
The key word there is "now." Trump claimed this was a dem hoax, a media hoax and said they tried Russia, Russia, Russia, then impeachment then this. He repeatedly stood in front the medical experts and said stuff over and over that was simply NOT true. I felt sorry for them having to stand behind him on TV while he said the crap he said. He said anybody that wanted a test could get it at a time when we had NO tests and still today they don't anyone that is very sick to have the test because they don't have enough to go around. At his rallies he talked this down for nearly 3 months before somebody finally convinced him to get serious. Glad he finally got on board but it should have been much sooner. People still believe the crap he put out earlier and they are NOT taking this seriously because they believe what he said over anything they see on TV. Maybe he should have another rally and tell them to believe what he's saying NOW!
If you watched the full clip he wasn't calling the virus itself a hoax. He was calling the politicization of a virus used to take him down a hoax. The media stinks. Best President ever.

People in China disappeared that spoke out about the Wuhan lab test results. Results of the tests were destroyed. Then China blamed our military for bringing the virus, and threatened to cut off medical supplies. What was not true about what the media was saying about his response? He was way behind where he should have been for weeks!!!! He was constantly saying it was not gonna be a big deal and it would go away in a month or two. You can deny this all you want but it's all on tape. Seems like someone has convinced him to get with the program now and that's good thing. Keep him on point now!

CNN called it Chinese Coronavirus until about 2-3 weeks ago. There are dozens of clips of it being used.
Literally because we need accurate data! What we are doing now is not sustainable. It looks like SK shutdown and testing program is not preventing a spike in the second wave. How is China's new case data down to zero now?
Because it sure would be nice to be 3 weeks ahead of this instead of 3 weeks behind.

We are still behind. The layered bureacacy of government has fubarred this up royally. We are looking to the private sector to mitigate the material shortages. The test roll out is a disaster. People at the CDC need fired. Meantime, we don't know when this going to end. There's no timeline. Millions will lose their jobs. Job loss is very important to lives too.
Then what does SK matter if it's a Chinese virus? That's my point. Who cares where the heck it started. Get data from everywhere and stop worrying about who started it.
It is extremely important where it started. It is important when it started. It is hugely relevant how much travel there was exposing people in other countries before the Chinese came forward. This really should be self evident. Instead of coming clean the Chinese have blamed it on the Americans, threatened to cut off supply of medicines largely produced in China and I’m quite sure they are lying about the number of new cases in the Wuhan area today. The Chinese government is responsible for thousands of deaths worldwide...but let’s not hurt their feelings...

What's the use of living in the information age when all you hear is disinformation from our supremely stupid media? I don't know anyone that trusts the media no matter what the source is.
Why shouldn't China wear it? Answer: to strike a blow against Trump. We have to listen to lectures from the media if we don't turn it off. Richard Engle said the virus doesn't speak Chinese. If the virus originated from the rednecks in the south, would there be any question that's appropriate? This is why it matters where it originated.

Our media Jim Acosta thinks it's important what we call the virus. Actually, they need to dig at Trump and try to look virtuous while all of them could actually crawl under a snake.

You can't really think the Democrats are going to pass any policies during this. There is no policy that will be passed in all of this that will not have to have Republican support.
But they tried to. Nancy added PP money and if not for one guy objecting, there would have been much more.
