Playoff matchups set

So the winner of district 6 class 4 would have to travel for the third consecutive year for the quarter final game ? If so that’s a load of bull !!

Could depend on the winner. If someone upsets West Plains and Hannibal wins district 5 then they would travel.

are you for sure. i think no matter what District 6 should be home for Quarterfinals if Hannibal wins. If Hannibal gets upset and Say it's Jeff City or Kirksville be the district champion West Plains would have to travel!!!

I was looking at the team who would be on the top side of the bracket. but we need to win the district first. Don’t need to get ahead of myself. 😁

Does MSHSAA still do the “school who’s hosted the least” or do they just change the districts as well as change who can host every year so it ever works out evenly?

D. HOSTING CRITERIA: 1. District Games: The better seeded team shall host unless their facility is determined to be inadequate. 2. Quarterfinals (Classes 1-5) a. The team who has hosted the fewer number of games through district play will be the host. Total includes: i. Forfeits which occur after district seeds have been finalized. ii. Games a team was supposed to host but did not due to inadequate facilities. iii.DOES NOT INCLUDE BYES. b. If both teams have hosted the same number of games; the host will be the team who did not host a district championship. c. If both teams have either or neither hosted a district championship, the host will be the team on the top of the bracket in odd-numbered years and the team on the bottom in even-numbered years. 3. Semifinals a. 8-Man & Class 6 i. The team who has hosted the fewer number of games through district play will be the host. Total includes: 1) Forfeits which occur after district seeds have been finalized. 2) Games a team was supposed to host but did not due to inadequate facilities. 3) DOES NOT INCLUDE BYES. ii. Classes 1 – 5 i. The team who has hosted the fewer number of games throughout the postseason will be the host. Total includes: 1) Forfeits which occur after district seeds have been finalized. 2) Games a team was supposed to host but did not due to inadequate facilities. 3) DOES NOT INCLUDE BYES. ii. Ok that makes sense I suppose. So if West Plains and Hannibal win. Due to it being a even year. Hannibal travels to West Plains. If Hannibal wins and another team wins in district 6. Hannibal still travels. Vice versa if it happens the other way around.

yep only way West Plains would travel if Hannibal gets beat by either jeff City or Kirksville. reason West Plains travel 2 years straight back in 2020-21 because West Plains was in District 5 back in 2020

Without Williams, I don't know that Hannibal can survive that district.

Both WP & Hannibal have very very weak districts.
i would say Hannibal’s only “threat” would be Jeff City if I’m correct?
They beat Kirksville by 20 and Jeff City by 25 with arguably one of the best high school football players ever in Missouri (he is legit). What are those spreads now without him?

Jefferson City mainly, but Kirksville isn't that bad either. They can surprise people
i agree. kirksville could suprise people. I been to both Jeff City and Kirksville this year. from what i watch from both teams they are evenly match. Kirksville is 5-4 and all they're losses came from Hannibal (7-2) Macon (8-1) Savannah (8-1) and Capital City (7-2)

Hannibal by 1 TD against either team. The Good thing about Hannibal is that have a really good Running back and Tight End to back up Williams production. Hannibal RB Humphrey's can show stride and make some plays. he's at 890 Rushing yds and 11 Rushing TD's and 3 Receiving TD's.

Hannibal receiving not including Williams Numbers is 55 Reception and 786 Yds and 5 TD's

Macon is an absolutely ugly loss. Losses have been lopsided as well for Kirksville. Kirksville ended the regular season allowing more points than they scored on the season. Not saying that Hannibal can’t find a way to beat them again. Just think they are MOSTLY a one man show. That injury was huge he made others better because the defensive game plan was to stop him. That’s it. Teams can be better prepared. Yeah, Macon is 10-1, but there’s a lot of better 10-1 in the state. A lot. Not every good record is the same. We see that every playoff. Macon won’t play long in the playoff maybe not even district championship even.

My favorite is now Jeff City. If I remember right, Jeff City was beating Hannibal until Williams went crazy on them. I don't know if their O-line is good enough with out him He turned tosses and screens into 70 yard touchdowns and IDK if they have anyone else that can do that.

Macon is 8-1. They are the 3 seed in C2D8, so they are not expected to make the District Championship game. They beat a good Centralia squad (7-2) last week. When was the last time Kirksville even beat them? They play every year.

Stick to all things Lamar and keep your nose out of subjects you obviously know nothing about.

The CCC is a strong conference as they obviously produce title contenders year after year.

Kirksville is good. They have a Solid QB and a WR that should be all-state in my opinion. I don't think they will match up well Jeff City though. I think Either Kirksville or Jeff has a legit shot to beat Hannibal now and will probably play with increased confidence

So they are a daunting squad? We will see. It wasn’t meant to be offensive. But I can’t help how people take things. Centralia is real good? Ok. We will see. Also don’t think so. But that’s why the game is played. I feel some bias here.
Obviously the Kirksville comment was towards someone else, in reference to a different conversation that had nothing to do with Macon. Everything to do with idk maybe Hannibal and schedules? Anyways, welcome back.

Yeah bizarre to find an argument from someone like Cards. I get he’s from Macon. But if he actually read the comment there wouldn’t have been such anger towards my comment. It was flushing out a discussion between teams and injuries and stuff like that. Macon got crossfire, but even he said they aren’t expected to win districts. So I’m quite confused what that was.

Didn't say Centralia is 'real good', just good (like state ranked good). I totally understand the CCC was way down this year other than title contender Monroe City, Macon and Centralia. Doesn't mean these 3 are not worthy of some praise on good seasons, certainly not worth these type of comments...

If Lamar were on this side of the bracket (you know, where the vast majority of the tough outs lie) I think your tune would be in a different key. You took a swipe at Macon unnecessarily and got me out of retirement so you have that going for you I guess.
