PC played a real schedule this year. And they have it all coming together. Interesting to see how many they put up on Webb. Given they scored 29 in the first half on Staley, I'd wager it is at least 30.
Yes. PC was coming off a couple of rough games and were banged up.Didn’t Platte County beat H-vile by 8?

Harrisonville fumbled away a narrow opportunity. I credit Webb in hitting them to force a few, but at any rate the best team won. When Webb can run a dive for 9 yards a pop they're pretty hard to beat.Well Harrisonville has maybe 3 first downs through 3 quarters so that might be a tall order.
I will say there is less than 5% chance they score 28.PC played a real schedule this year. And they have it all coming together. Interesting to see how many they put up on Webb. Given they scored 29 in the first half on Staley, I'd wager it is at least 30.
The thing about PC though, is they have no run D. None. So WC can sit on the ball. That will slow down PC. But they can score quick and long. They had zero yards rushing against Staley, and about 340 yards passing. Good luck stopping that 6'5 Randy Moss. Gotta get to the quarterbackI will say there is less than 5% chance they score 28.
Weird irony I bet Webb borrows a page from how Kearney defended their passing game. Shall see how I feel as the week goes on but, as of now, looking more and more like about a 35-14 type game. The thing about PC though, is they have no run D. None. So WC can sit on the ball. I remember Webb city's defense a few years back held some guy named DGB to 48 yards of total reception yards. I bet Coach Smith and Coach Derryberry knows how to handle a Randy Moss type reviever.
Hillcrest muffing the opening kickoff then batting it back to the three yard line didn't hurtWell it was a cold windy day in Springfield and Hillcrest was way outclassed. I do think PC will have a much better supporting cast than that team.

I’m watching PC vs H-ville game right now on YouTube. It is mid late 2nd quarter and Platte County has 50 yards of offense and is down 6-0 to H-ville. I’m going to go on a limb and predict PC wins 20-12 but this game looks like 2 evenly matched teams to me.
Watched a couple of PC games they don't throw to just one guy they throw to 4-5 could be a problem but if we run the ball well...it won't matter figure we win by 14. No way Jrod let's them throw it all over the place.
I am not sure how you figure two even teams. WC ran 8 defensive snaps in the first half and 20 in the second half. I would guess the speed of the defense caused the pitch problems. I would say that WC did exactly what they wanted to do. Dominate and control the ball.I wonder if PC will give up 4 turnovers like Harrisonville did? The Webb v Harrisonville gsme. Looked like two even teams in the first half. Saved by a bold 4th down play and turnovers.

Maybe I wouldn't know but if that is true then I would stop doing it......duh!Harrisonville had trouble with the pitch all year long, no matter who they played.
Bold 4th down play???? If you would have watched Webb much over the years you would know if it's 4th and 2-3 yards Webb lines up and runs a play probably 90% of the timeI wonder if PC will give up 4 turnovers like Harrisonville did? Saved is the word that needs to be questionedBold 4th down play???? If you would have watched Webb much over the years you would know if it's 4th and 2-3 yards Webb lines up and runs a play probably 90% of the time
Heck I remember in the dome a few years ago it's 4th and maybe 2 on about our own 30 yard line on our first drive of the game and we just lined up and ran a play
When you have a great defense why would you ever want to not run a fourth down play????
Maybe I wouldn't know but if that is true then I would stop doing it......duh!
