I have no idea where Cabot and Georgetown are from at first glance, without looking more into it, but it bothers me that they put teams in this from out of the area.

Cabot is in Arkansas. In between Little Rock and Jonesboro but much closer to LR. Size of town probably similar to Lebanon maybe. Lived down in Conway, AR for a few years once upon a time.

Having out of town teams is part of it after the KTXR Lady Classic blended in with the P&W. Was 4 out of area teams in the beginning. They may be transitioning them back out or have decided to just leave it at 2 instead of 4.

West Plains at the 5 seed could win that bracket. Granted I know nothing about Georgetown either.
Ozark is a scary 6 on the other side. May take them a little bit to acclimate to Hepler, but when they do and if they get it going by Christmas look out.

Should be a lot of really good 2nd and 3rd round matchups.

Yes, it's nearly unanimous that WP should be seeded higher from others I've talked to. The loss to Fair Grove was a loss, but deserves an asterisk. They throttled a good Ava team 74-40 right after that (Judd 45 pts) and have throttled everyone else they've played and I think that's more of a true representation of who they are, not a game where Judd gets four fouls in the first quarter (and apparently 1 or 2 of them weren't really on her but got marked down that way) and sits out the next two quarters.

Now that said, it's obvious that Judd needs to be on the court as much as possible for them to win this thing again.

And they should have flipped Blue Eye and Willard in the seedings. Willard and Strafford just played, with Strafford winning by 25-30, so why have them potentially play again? Strafford vs Blue Eye would be a more intriguing matchup, two possible final four teams in their respective classes facing off in the second round.

Games start today! I think it'll be Lebanon vs Cabot for the championship on the Pink side and West Plains vs Strafford on the White side

Carthage looking to upset Ozark...
Carthage played a great game, missing 2 of their starters and filling roles with Freshman. I actually think they played quicker and more aggressive today. Ozark didn’t have an answer for slowing down the Yates girl.

Central beats Camdenton 77-64. Did a great job breaking the Camdenton pressure and time after time had numbers in transition. The two bigs for Central held their own on both ends

You got the white division right. Cabot was down a starter yesterday, who broke her hand in the game against Skyline. They are a fun- young team to watch.

Yeah, Fontleroy played the best game I've ever seen her play against Cabot. She was on fire from outside. She will have to play like that consistently IMO for Kickapoo to make a deep post season run. Their defense will keep them in most games though.

No one saw the Carthage upsets coming, beating both Ozark and Lebanon. Hats off to them for a great run! The Yates girl is special, always around the ball.

Poo likely wins today over Republic, but the West Plains vs Strafford game is just about unpredictable. Judd is by far the single biggest difference maker on both ends of any other player in SWMO at least and possibly the entire state. But Strafford has a lot of weapons and with Compton always has the player with the biggest heart on the court, even if she's usually the smallest in stature. I think Strafford wins a close one, if I had to pick.
