Four plays later, quarterback Colten O'Hara connected on consecutive passes to Jackson Kleiboeker and Kyle Renkoski, had a score called back for a block in the back, then passed to Kleiboeker to end the half at 42-0.

Before the teams left the field, a heartwarming display of sportsmanship brought Pierce City senior Cameron Johnson onto the field. The teams lined up on the Pleasant Hope 5 yard line, and Johnson, who is disabled and walks with crutches but attends every practice and game, carried the ball over as the referee signaled a touchdown. The rest of the Eagles then poured onto the field to share congratulations.

Well done PC
