Phenix City (AL) Central 30, Lutheran North 12 Final

Much unlike last year I currently have STL winning all three largest classes......................but my goodness whole season still ahead who knows?

Whoever comes out of KC 6 and 5 will be battle tested as they can be. Tough games for sure but not writing the check to STL yet

Completely agree. A zillion variables but part of it is how brutally deep C6 in particular is here. How much will be left in the tank for the survivor?

C5 both Carthage and Platte County took care of business with big games down the road. Still very high on both but those Ritter all stars stand in the way. Last night's game at Fort was an old fashioned "snot bubbles" D war. Extreme LB play both sides. That side will keep Kearney in every game without a doubt including that potential Lutheran North semi.

I will confess I told friends with whom I attended this one Platte County with the experienced top drawer QB and spread would be the only team I could see putting up good numbers against either D but, again, we lost the "Hwy 92 rivalry" this year. Watch Week 3 at Fort INTENTLY.

You all get your chance to cut your teeth vs. those Pirates this Friday.

This week is beyond interesting, I have a feeling how it will go but with that offense having 2 RBs to pound the ball at you plus a 3rd that likes to make you miss after the 1st 2 have you planting your feet can keep them in games by tiring down the D and keeping the O off the field. If there was a gun to my head I'd pick PC but I wouldn't bet against Allie.

BO heads to LN on Thursday. 6pm start. Last year, what LN was successful against BO was their speed on defense. I never seen them play so darn quick. I would think this will be a lot of the same this year.

I think this year with BO added firepower on offense that they can escape with the win.
