I coached high school def for 24 years if you blitz 7 and they are in panic mode they
will dump it to the running back because your line backers are blitzing. They blitzed every time
the last series It made it so easy for Staley. Play with 6 dee backs give them the underneath
pass and you got 6 guys to tackle. Feel bad for the kids had that won and def design let the kids down.

How many years you coach high school football. If you knew anything about football you would of seen that . Doesn't take a genius to know you blitz 7 guys you are leaving the swing pass to the running back wide open especially when the off is in the spread off.

Just saw the replay, they did not send 7. They sent 4 down and 2 ILBs. They played man behind it, just didn't have anyone assigned to TB out of the backfield. For all you know a LB or DE was suppose to peel, and in a extremely high pressure situation who knows, but criticizing the coaches or players in a game like that is not needed. Great game by both teams; that Pattonville QB is tough, stood in the pocket and made some big time throws while taking hits all night.
