With all of the players in WP leaving will the players in Moberly follow suit now that their coach will be gone also (for very different reasons)?

He is advising the Sophmores to return since they should be the best in our region with a good quality coach. I can assure any doubters that our future coach will not be anyone that coached in Region XVI this past season.

Do you have any ideas. I'm sure they won't wait long at all to name the new guy. This job will be grabbed up in a heart beat. Good luck to coach Smith from us folks in the Mineral Area. I'm sure you will succeed where ever you are at. And coach, go ahead and take as many of your players as you want....seriously though, good luck.

Li'l Bucket, how do you know that? Do you speak to him? No, seriously, I hope you ARE right, just curious to know how it is that you seem to know what is in his mind.
I hope the school DOESN'T drag their feet in appointing his successor if he goes (do you know if he IS going?) What about Kenny Seifert? I'll bet he's sorry he ever left for that ill-fated Tennessee venture. Do you KNOW Tom Barr is ruled out? YOu sound pretty sure of yourself...

Spoke to Maurice Gibbs about 10 minutes ago and he said the freshmen had a meeting and they are returning as a group. He was pretty matter of fact about it. He and 2 others are staying in Moberly for summer school as well as some of this years sophs that need hours to move on. I would think that if this is true we will have some pretty good applicants for the job.

Good luck to Coach Smith and I thank him for helping build on what Coach Seifert(spelling?) started. Hopefully, the next Coach can lead the Greyhounds even further.
