Just some info for ya metro on the Fr from Bluff
just my take:
1 Very good 3pt shooter which all he does
2 He def consist of standing at the top of the key and waiting for an outlet pass so he can slam it ( plays no Def)
3 Doesn't Rebound
Don't get me wrong he did put up like 26 on Cape mostly all 3pt shots, every time he shoots and misses he looks at the Ref and holds his hands up like didn't I get fouled . I know he's just a Fr but he has a long was to go to be a great player. It will be interesting to see how he does against Sikeston pressure Def tonite

I was at Poplar Bluff vs Cape game and got to watch Leech first hand. I can see why D1 coaches are going nuts about this kid. With all that said by sikestontrain, the kid still had 26pts and is averaging 20 on the year (what else do want from freshman). But if he get everything right what Sikeston train was talking about its scary how good he will be.

I believe Sikeston plays Poplar Bluff tonight. This could be a game of interest as Sikeston's big threat Fred Thatch battles Marcedus Leech the freshman from Poplar Bluff. Will Fred guard Marcedus @ the point? Marcedus will have a hard time with strong man Fred down under.

Some of my friends have indicated to me Poplar Bluff should win this one but I disagree with them. The Bulldogs will be difficult for the young Mules to " impose their will " on tonight in Sikeston. Who wins this game tonight and advances to the final?

Cape sports said Leech had 22 points in the loss but Sikeston shot 67% from 3. Hard to beat anybody when they shoot it like that.
