Agreed... There are no upsets in that conference this season. Anyone can beat anyone on a given Friday night. If you watched the Blue Springs/Lees Summit West game last night, that was exhibit A. They could play ten times and each team would win five !That conference is beyond belief................Blue Springs took a big step forward tonight but this is far from over.

Just wait til Week 10 (districts) then add in what could be a very good Rockhurst and Kickapoo is rolling along and WOW. The C6 districts this side of the state have never been more exciting! This might be the strongest the Suburban Gold Conference has ever been top to bottom. You may not have an all time great team at the top but you have 4-5 really good teams, 1-2 that will get a lot better as the year, and 1 that while it might be at the bottom of the conference that is better talent wise than it has been in some time.
Current standings after week two:
1: Blue Springs 2-0, 2-0, wins over LS and LSW
2: Ray Pec 2-0, 1-0, wins over Belton and LSN
3: LS West 1-1, 1-1 win over BS South, loss to BS
LSHS 1-1, 1-1, win over Park Hill, loss to BS
Park Hill 1-1,1-1, win over LSN, loss to LSHD
6: BS South 0-2, 0-1 losses to LSW and Rockhurst
7: LS North 0-2, 0-2 losses to Park Hill and Ray Pec
cBC looks good again.Class 6 should be fun to watch this year. No real clear cut favorite to win. I don't think anyone is head and shoulders above the rest.
