Defensive battle. I was there and Park Hill’s Defense might be the best in the Kansas City area. They were so good tonight. Mozee went for 120 but no huge runs. Park Hill opened the scoring with a 2 yard TD pass from Hall to Sambroski, followed by a 52 yd FG from LSN kicker DeRousse. Then in the 3rd PH kicker Pella knocked through a 22 yd FG for the final score of the game. Park Hill scores again in the 4th but it was called back by a holding penalty. PH is 3-1 and takes on Ray-Pec next Friday while LSN is 2-2

Nice writeup WP. Mozee's 120yds. was a very quiet effort. At least half of that output came on LSN's first drive in which they came up empty. Penalties hampered both teams offensively. There were a lot of holding calls.

Mozee has 73 yards on the first drive. In which he fumbled at the 2 yard line. Really good football game. Just reassured my thoughts that Park Hill’s Defense is tops in KC. And LSN’s isn’t bad itself

It was said last night on the 810 WHB postgame show, that if C6 D4 was played 5 times, there would probably be 5 different winners. Right now, in my opinion there is no clear favorite to win the district. Still lots of football to play. But it’s hard to Name an outright favorite.

I should add that last night's game highlights had to include LSN's 52yd. field goal. It was a line drive kick that looked like it was shot out of a cannon, hit the cross bar, and bounced over.

Being up in the both broadcasting the game I didn’t think it was going to get there. But did. Outstanding kick. Lots of help too by the 20+ MPH wind.

Though Anthony Hall from Park Hill was extremely efficient through the air. Only threw 9 to 11 incompletions all night. Not for a ton of yards but was effective
