There goes the ABSOLUTE POSSITIVE SURE BET for the Democrat's Presidential hopes in 2016. :-(
But then, I guess there is still a Possible BUSH on the Republican Ticket, so hope still abounds for the Dems. :)

If the Republicans have a brain in their head they need to do everything they can to get Condoleezza Rice on a ticket in the Vice Presidential slot and they will will the white house.

She would pick up enough women and black votes that it would be a done deal

Did someone get a pic of Palin exposed ??

You may be on to something. Run Palin for President and Rice for VP. This way you get the women's vote the black's vote, the moron's vote, and all those horny Republicans that keep fantasizing about her's vote.

Palin has already been paired up with Rice

But it was Glenn and she wasn't on top of a ticket.

Have you looked at the polling of black voters about Condi? Colin Powell, yes, you would probably have something. But Condi doesn't do anything for you.

Condi is not a game changer. And I don't think she has any interest in doing that. She has never run for a single office. My guess is she never will.

On Meet The Press this morning, Chuck Todd kept saying with Romney out the GOP field was now set. Can someone give me a list of this set field?

If you watched that you surely saw the poll he put up with Romney in, then with Romney out. It listed about 8 and I believe Rick Perry was not listed because he didn't poll well enough to mention. Scott Walker was at the top with about 15% and Ben Carson was around the bottom with 9% I think. Mike Huckabee was in the middle and moved up 3 points in the one without Romney.

Walker didn't graduate from college. Think that should be a requirement for President.

Polls are basically meaningless at this point in Iowa. Look at who is raising money and building a good staff.

I mostly mentioned the poll to show Miller the list of candidates Chuck Todd was calling "the field" for republicans. There was a couple not in the poll he showed that will at least be in a debate or two when the time comes.

Yeah.

At least point, if someone isn't at least working behind the scenes to build out a campaign, they aren't seriously running and they won't have a chance to win.

Jeb wasn't in that list! Jindal wasn't on that list. Marco wasn't on that list. There were only 5 on it (the top 5 in Iowa). Do you think Chuck thought that was the list?

The FIVE on the poll were Walker, Rand, Huck, Ben, and Romney. The second without Romney had Jeb. Everyone keeps saying there will be 15-20.
Christie, Rubio, Jindal, Santorum, Kasich, Perry, Pence, Cruz, etc. are not in the field? I'm still trying to figure out who is on the list now that the field is set.

See you knew all along, but those you mentioned were not in Iowa. Why not? I kinda doubt they will have 15 in a debate when the time comes.

I would be willing to bet you I didn't name everyone who will be in the field and I named a lot more than 5. I also doubt that everyone I named will be in the field so how is the field "set" as Meet The Press claimed?

That was his opinion, not mine, but I'll bet he was NOT saying that those in the poll he showed were the ONLY ones in the field. He said since Romney decided not to run the field is set...without him in it.
