I only checked on this game sporadically through the night. What happened? I'm surprised by this score.I thought maybe CJ had control of ball across the plain of end zone for win.

Who knows? Things seem to unraveling pretty fast in CJ.Now that they’ve fallen under .500 they might drop out of the rankings?
Making the change was the correct move. It may be tough at first but it is the only chance they have.Yes--it looked like it should've been incomplete or a touchdown. All you had to do was cross the plain?! I don't know, but maybe this week they'll practice with Kennedy at rb and Baker at qb.
Have watched slow mo replay of this today. Definitely an incomplete pass. Receiver never had control of the ball with body or hands - no question about it. Had this not occurred near the goal line, and the ball bounded down the field, it seems it would have been called incomplete.Yes--it looked like it should've been incomplete or a touchdown. Offensive line had a really hard time. They changed qb at half-time, put in Baker and had Kennedy at rb, which they practice very little if at all (even with Baker as backup qb). Keep waiting for coaches to make changes and actually practice them.
Well maybe they can get it going.
His passing accuracy seems less than ideal but not sure if that is his fault or the receivers.I still think Kennedy is the most dynamic player on the team and putting him at RB is doing other teams a favor. Much easier to defend if he is at RB. That’s not to mention he is as good a QB as anyone in the area. He just doesn’t have the supporting cast IMO.
I feel CJ's season was altered severely when Weston announced his ACL tear and subsequent surgery. They would be on a completely different trajectory if he is on the field IMO. Feel bad for that kid. Anyone with that level of talent shouldn't miss out on their senior year.I still think Kennedy is the most dynamic player on the team and putting him at RB is doing other teams a favor. I feel bad for him and for the community to miss witnessing it. I still don't think they have the O Line to beat WC in districts but with Weston they certainly would not have lost to Ozark.Zero doubt. Weston would have made CJ much better on both sides of the ball.
They didn't need it. Their opponent wasn't that good. The only thing that could have made this better is if Ozark would have won with a Hitch and Pitch..
Kennedy is the best player--probably the best rb now. They could move Southern off defense to rb to help offense or put Kennedy at rb and move Baker to qb. Kennedy has been inaccurate, but the line gives any qb little time to pass. The inaccuracies may also be due to having to carry most of the offense. He's taking a pounding. Why not try something else?
Baker is a good athlete as well and he can and will run it . This frees up Joe to be moved from rb , slot , wr1 etc . Makes the defense account for where he lines up any given play same as Weston last year. I hear Baker throws better anyways so I don't see a downside here other than Baker may have been their best wr
Easy to make these calls from the stands.....
