Ozark over CJ 17-10 in OT

Yes--it looked like it should've been incomplete or a touchdown. All you had to do was cross the plain?! I don't know, but maybe this week they'll practice with Kennedy at rb and Baker at qb.
Making the change was the correct move. It may be tough at first but it is the only chance they have.

Have watched slow mo replay of this today. Definitely an incomplete pass. Receiver never had control of the ball with body or hands - no question about it. Had this not occurred near the goal line, and the ball bounded down the field, it seems it would have been called incomplete.

This happened from the 13 on third down on a rainy night. No guarantee the Bulldogs would've made the 30 yard field goal to win.

If the Dogs can get the offense figured out, they might make it back to the district final. Kind of a big IF based on how they've looked thru five weeks.

I still think Kennedy is the most dynamic player on the team and putting him at RB is doing other teams a favor. Much easier to defend if he is at RB. That’s not to mention he is as good a QB as anyone in the area. He just doesn’t have the supporting cast IMO.
His passing accuracy seems less than ideal but not sure if that is his fault or the receivers.

I feel CJ's season was altered severely when Weston announced his ACL tear and subsequent surgery. They would be on a completely different trajectory if he is on the field IMO. Feel bad for that kid. Anyone with that level of talent shouldn't miss out on their senior year.

Zero doubt. Weston would have made CJ much better on both sides of the ball.

I feel bad for him and for the community to miss witnessing it. He is a physical specimen we don’t around here very often

My precious does not know.

Kennedy is the best player--probably the best rb now. They could move Southern off defense to rb to help offense or put Kennedy at rb and move Baker to qb. Kennedy has been inaccurate, but the line gives any qb little time to pass. The inaccuracies may also be due to having to carry most of the offense. He's taking a pounding. Why not try something else?

I suppose they have to try something but if I’m the opposing defensive coordinator I think you are doing me a favor by lining up Kennedy at RB as opposed to QB. At QB you can spread the field and run QB draw. IMO the only reason you move him from QB if you think he isn’t the best QB.

Regardless I doubt the problem is QB or RB play. You have to be able to compete up front.

Baker is a good athlete as well and he can and will run it . This frees up Joe to be moved from rb , slot , wr1 etc . Makes the defense account for where he lines up any given play same as Weston last year. I hear Baker throws better anyways so I don't see a downside here other than Baker may have been their best wr

Baker was there best threat as a receiver but Kennedy is a level above as far as athleticism (two grades older I believe)

Honestly I think there record stems from all the Oline. They have big boys and they seem fairly strong they are just not playing nasty at all. Have not hardly seen anyone’s back in the dirt from the opposing D line. And there one on one tackling has been atrocious, hopefully they will get it fixed. I believe they will
