This could be a really good girls league:

Bolivar
Rogersville
Marshfield
West Plains
Carl Junction
Branson

There has been a massive backlash among girls sports at CJ to leaving the COC.

What does that mean?
The current and past players are making a lot of noise on social media about how they don't want to leave the COC. It has been loud enough to force school board members to respond and tell them they can schedule the old COC teams if they want.

Because players and former players get to make the schedules.
That is a horrible response from the board.
Good for the kids who are still playing and speaking up. That is a hard situation for them to be in.

This was of course a football move but only football right now plays every game in the COC. Every other sport has flexibility. If volleyball wants to schedule Nixa them call them. I just also think the detractors are wrong. How is a league with Marshfield, West Plains and Rogersville a bad girls sports league?

Backlash from people that likely did not look at the move nearly as close as the Board, most likely, did

Willard has opted not to join the OMC, and will stay in the COC. I would imagine Neosho will be doing the same.

I heard from someone that says there is def truth to the possibility of the OMC expanding out to a really big conference with some more of the OC schools.

This is true, there is a lot of discussion about the fate of Lebanon, Camdenton, Rolla, and Waynesville. They could go OMC but could also merge into the COC as well. If Parkview and Hillcrest go OMC that leaves just Glendale/Kickapoo and then those 4 northern schools. You could take those 6 into the COC for a 14 team league. Could do divisions for football with some crossover or non-con games. I have heard Marshfield and Rogersville were planning on voting against Willard's entry into the new OMC if Willard has petitioned for entry, so I am skeptical that they would be willing to accept schools like Lebanon, Camdenton, etc. Parkview and Hillcrest are big as well, but are pretty bad at most things.
