Ozark stops the Bulldogs on 4th and 2 from the 13. The Tigers are going to pull out a 10-7 victory.

Good call Chaotic but I didnt see it as a sleeper I picked Ozark to win. I said after the WEBB game CJs offense from what I saw wasnt near as potent or fast as last years team. Thought their defense looked okay. I know the norm now is for a few on here to say "because they beat WEBB you put them down", and thats bull. Regardless if its a team beating WEBB or East Newton if the victor doesnt look that good they dont look that good. I believe CJ ran that Jet Sweep last year with that #3. Kid was very fast and the movement kept the Defense on their heels. Running atleast what they did against WEBB I didnt think they had the horses nor the speed to do much. I think the radio said the starting rb last night had over 30 carries averaging 2.5 yards a carry. If thats your offense mixed in with a decent pass here and there you just aint that scary. Just like against WEBB they hit a homerun on one deep ball and outside of that the offense was stagnant. Not taking anything away from BIG 8 teams but the COC with the numbers on the sidelines for most these schools its a different beast. Although some havent been that good in a while there wont be any East Newtons every team no matter how bad their record or history are going to hit you in the mouth. Kinda like the SEC claim of every week being tough regardless of outcome.
3peat, as a CJ fan myself I think your post hit all the nails on their heads. Agree 100% with your analysis.
When we walked in to the Ozark Stadium last night (beautiful by the way), we were welcomed at the gates by a nice lady taking money and she said "I hear you guys have lots of speed." Yes, we have 3 legs of a 4x100 relay team that set school records last Spring. But the team doesn't seem to reflect that as well as they did last season. Also, doesn't matter how fast you are if you let passes go through your hands (probably 6-8 of those last night).
I guaranteed third or fourth and short or Goalline Id be putting 46 in to carry the rock. Crazy to me how quick he is for his size. Plus with that size who the heck wants to get in front of him? I think this coming week is a huge game as far as confrence is concerned. If CJ wins it they would almost, almost, have the conference all but won. Nixa may give them fits and I hear Willard has alot of size but beating NOSHO will go a long way especially confidence wise..
