Just for fun!

Let's say we were going to build an algorithm with certain number indicators such as we do enrollment to classify schools. What other numbers would you include?

i.e. - Enrollment, Free and Reduced Rate, Poverty Level, etc.

Poverty would be a huge factor, in whatever way you want to measure it. More affluent schools/districts/areas have a better chance of having serious success on a state-level. Not sure about algorithms. I've heard of them. I've heard it's becoming a real problem in rural areas.

Length of time lived in the district. Schools like Knob Noster & Waynesville are at a disadvantage because the kids shuffle in and out every year or two when their families get transferred in the military. Tough to build a program under those conditions these days when most other non-military towns have junior programs that start building in 3rd -5th grade. There should be a "negative multiplier" for those schools like the positive multiplier used for private schools.

I would definitely say free or reduced lunch is huge when looking at athletic success. Its not always the case but no doubt a big factor .
