Bill DeWitt Jr. says Cardinals don't have much wiggle room when it comes to payroll.

My bad. All is well.

I read that the Cardinals plan is basically that Carp is going to bounce back and will be the new hitter they need. This will happen because he had some good conversations with management.

Strikeout % for Carp

2016-19%,
2017-21%,
2018-23%.
2019-27%

42% increase in 3 years.

Most would agree two terrible contracts are tying up a lot of money.

If you are ever feeling down, realize they are paying Carp and Fowler a combined 70 million for the next 2 years to hit about .235 and strike out once a game. What a country huh.

Don't worry though, ballpark village has to be ready to open up a new fancy frozen yogurt stand or fitness center or something to divert your attention.
