Don't really know who said they didn't interfere/try to but the idea Trump colluded with them was the "fake news/hoax". Republicans are on record saying Russia had and would before the election and Obama said they couldn't.

I think there will always be those who will try to influence who is elected. We as a country also do it, not saying it is right but you cannot stop it.

I don't know how much Trump knew or didn't know, but Russia is not the reason Hillary lost...she lost because she was in even some democrats eyes a worse option than Trump.
