I see Odessa is ranked number 1 in class 3 and that they were 6-5 last year. I don't know much about them other then they have a really good head coach. Can someone from that area tell me about them a little, do they return a lot from last year?

I get it, that math is a tough subject. If you notice, I only have 1,650 posts. Which is no where near a million. Nice try! Plus, I was referring the original poster to an actual Odessa fan, that just happens to also be a Doc Guy!

I am so sorry to upset the Doc guys but I have yet to see any of them answer the original question about Odessa? Only funny pictures and comments.
Ahh, much better thread now that I have ignored all Doc guys, with the exception of Shoot, who does at times discuss actual Missouri high school sports. Thank you for the Ignore feature, RIvals/Mo Sports!

Thanks! To answer Stef and the original posters questions, yes Odessa is a solid team this year. I dont wanna go as far as saying stamp it or to claim that they are 'for real' but they will make some noise this season. A very solid Senior led team that has a great supporting cast of underclassmen. I honestly wouldnt expect them to take a step back next year either. As mentioned earlier, the coaching staff hasnt been better at Odessa in many years.
Years ago I used to cover the old MRVC when working radio in Lexington, plus I grew up in Higginsville and had two nephews (non athletes) graduate from Odessa. Nice to see the bulldogs doing so well this year.
what took you so long? We were starting to get worried!

Thanks for the heads up, I heard that all there senior starters from a year ago graduated and all are doing really good things. The starters who did not graduate last year were not seniors. Sounds like someone may have bushwhacked me with untruths.
