Blair Oaks vs. Odessa would be a great matchup.
And the fact that both coaching staff have worked together in past would make for a great one. Thomas and Blank at Odessa are great and Lepage and Briggs are great. All worked at JC together. They are on a collision course to meet up for all the marbles.
They definitely do have history, as you said all on staff at Jeff City with Thomas being LePage's defensive coordinator from 06-10 I believe. LePage, Blank and Briggs were all on staff at Blair Oaks during LePage's first stint as head coach at Blair Oaks. Go back even further and LePage and Thomas were on staff at Jeff City in 1995, LePage was offensive coordinator and Thomas was his O-line coach.

Great to see Coach Thomas doing so well at Odessa! Brought a lot of what are now long ago good memories to this town!
Sorry, deer season is upon us. Thomas is clearly a great and has retired Odessa back to what is used to be. When I played for Odessa, it was the Coach Hopkins days. I really hated seeing him go. Dude can build a program. Many people forget, that THE Greg Jones replaced. Only stayed a whopping 2 seasons. There was then a series of coaches, each with a varying degree of success and several bad seasons. I hope Thomas is there another 15 seasons and doesnt pull a Jones.
Well I’ll show my age, but I was at OHS when Thomas was here the first time! I remember them all in between!! Not sure how much longer we’ll have Coach T but I know we have a LOT of superior Assistants who are more than qualified to carry the Program forward!
