Well those numbers do not look good for my Bulldogs. Harrisonville has played a much tougher schedule. Odessa has been able to put away and not let inferior teams compete, which is a good sign. Last year Odessa lost 13-0. There are two common opponents and Harrisonville beat Oak Grove a little more handedly than Odessa did. I will always pick the Bulldogs to win no matter how much the deck may or may not be stacked against them. I say Odessa wins 26-20 in a nail biter. Thoughts?

Harrisonville 28-14. Impressive what Odessa has done but Hville has wave after wave of talented runners they bring to the table. They just wear teams down.

When I saw harrisonville, it's not the runners that are impressive.. In fact I think their backfield is their "weakness".. But their offensive line is... Wow. And I'm not talking size/athleticism (of which they have plenty) but I'm talking technique. That unit is a thing of beauty.

Odessa by at least 24. Harrisonville has just been running on luck this year. Slow out of the box. Odessa will score early and often . Harrisonville will not be able to recover. Harrisonville has not shown the ability this year to play well for the first quarter to quarter and a half.

Not sure I agree with your assessment. The only good team that Odessa has played they beat by 7.

While I would love to see this happen, Odessa will not win by 24. Unless Harrisonville turns the ball over, ALOT, that wont happen.

Is there a place to find old football scores? Or are these just your personal records?

I think it will be a good game but unless Odessa has morphed into Webb City, don't see Hville losing by 4 scores.

And they beat oak grove, on a trick play, two passes, one that the DB fell down, and Oak Grove fumbled on the goal line going in. Harrisonville for the most part handled Oak Grove, ran and threw when needed. Defense gave up some yards but in the second half shut them down. Anything can happen Harrisonville has had some terribly slow starts to some games, but definately has played tougher opponents.

I do want to point out that no one gave Odessa a chance against Oak Grove.....

I mentioned most of that in my original post. Odessa has not played that tough of a schedule this season, unlike Harrisonville. Last years loss (13-0) was a close game and Odessa is improved this season. Play mistake free football and get a few turnovers, Odessa has a chance

Harrisonville 55-23, Hvill down 23-21 at half on a returned blocked FG. Came out second Half and owned the game.

Momentum looked to be in Odessa's favor with the 8 point swing before the half on a blocked field goal return for a TD and a successful 2 point conversation after a Harrisonville encroachment penalty on the PAT kick attempt. But a long kickoff return by Harrisonville to start the second half and 2 plays later they scored. The offense rolled and the defense dominated the second half. Harrisonville answered the bell in a big way in the second half. Best performance of the season when things could have swung the other way. This group is pretty special to me as I coached this group of seniors through youth league.

I just commented in another thread how impressive that second half was. Very, very solid looking team now very different from the opener in St. Joe. Harrisonville is going to be a handful for anyone in their path from here on out this season..............
