Exited at half. First time since I can remember the only available "seat" 30 minutes pre game was on concrete one row below the actual seating but that one is on me knew this would be a packed stadium both sides.
Odessa likely could have won this by lots more but Coach Thomas said it all in his prepskc postgame interview "we will likely see them again" ergo the scoreless second half.
From my perspective the QBs both sides are the team stars. Odessa's is dual threat had several stellar running plays one in particular going the distance. OG's has a nice, accurate arm (something the Panthers need to utilize more moving forward in my opinion) and reads D very well but the key to this one, like most top end games, was on both LINES. Odessa had a noticeable edge both ways.
Long term takeaway is I would LOVE to see Odessa and either Maryville or St. Pius X face off this November. Saw nothing telling me (could nitpick about those false starts but Thomas et al will fix that guaranteed) these Bulldogs cannot make a nice, deep C3 run yet again..............
