Conservative posters, I would urge you to put certain trolls on ignore and let them talk to themselves.

It's one thing to engage in banter, but expressing one's desire for others on this board to catch a deadly disease is too far.

It's a free country, do what you want, but I would urge you in not giving these trolls the attention they desperately desire. It would be one thing if they were engaging in any form of spirited intellectual debate, but that isn't what's happening. It's poo flinging.

My old principal described dealing with people like this quite eloquently "It's like wrestling with a pig, the pig enjoys it and all it does is get you dirty."

I would encourage you not to engage with them anymore, but obviously you're grown, make your own decisions.

I get it, but it's not really that fun. The point of this is supposed to be an exchange of ideas, not pedantic partisanship. I'm down to talk to anyone if they can be civil, these people show over and over that they have no interest in ideas or civility, so why engage them? I would argue they're getting way more out of it than you are and I for one refuse to expend any more energy than necessary on their amusement. I would encourage you to join me in this endeavor to return some decorum that Duck, Sadbut, and others have taken from this forum.

By engaging them on their terms you've given them the power. I refuse to play that game, I shouldn't even have pointed out that Arkansas Lazerback and Stable Genius (and likely Arnold Pigg) are all the same person, that will no doubt embolden him to sling all sorts of nonsense my way. I deserve the barrage I will undoubtedly receive because I gave them some attention.

In closing, this is a much better forum without those people. They're pathetic and I refuse to give them any power. If they want to engage respectfully I do check ignored posts from time to time and I'll gladly discuss anything with them. I will not respond to garbage though.
