After going back and forth during the regular season I have decided to keep the format pretty similar to the past few years:
The first three weeks (district rounds) will be straight Pick Em without any tiebreaks until the final round. All players will remain in the contest these three rounds and there are no weekly "winners" as scores will accumulate each week. The tiebreak will go into effect in the event of any tie for the final State Quarterfinal round.
Just as with the actual playoffs EIGHT will advance to the C1-5 quarterfinals and 8M-C6 semifinal round where those dreaded pointspreads go into effect. This gives us the ability to pick every game regardless of who should win. All State playoff rounds include a tiebreak for what should be obvious reasons.
FOUR advance to the C1-5 semifinals and 8M-C6 championship round with pointspreads. The final two rounds picks must be sent privately either here or at my email address.
TWO advance to the C1-5 championship round with a pair of tiebreaks in the unlikely event one will not determine the winner.
This is a winner take all contest (gift card). All gift cards for regular season and playoff challenge winners will be mailed out the Monday after Thanksgiving. Winning players are to email mailing info to my personal address (kcdartexpress@hotmail.com) with full discretion assured. Year to year I never retain this information so please (BH-CS, panther72, carthagefan2006, NorthlandFootball) email or decline your gift card by Monday November 28.
Also remember all regular season scores etc. are GONE. We start fresh at zero and new players are strongly encouraged to give this FUN contest a try.
