NWCMO Pick Em Week 7

After pondering a couple of borderline games I put one in to make this week's total of 19:

Albany at North Andrew
Blue Springs at Liberty North
Cass Midway at Jasper
Higginsville at Knob Noster
Kearney at Grain Valley
Lighthouse at Slater
Lone Jack at Concordia
Oak Grove at Excelsior Springs
Platte County at Raymore-Peculiar
Richmond at Holden
Rockhurst at Battle
Southeast at Fulton
Summit Christian Academy at Van Horn
Sweet Springs at Crest Ridge
William Chrisman at Ruskin
Windsor at Adrian
Worth County at Pattonsburg
Lincoln Prep at University City (Saturday)
Marshall at Hogan Prep (Saturday)

Finally got to cover our easternmost (Saline) county like a blanket................with the fairly limited slate could THIS be THE week the perfect picks regular season streak ends? Per usual picks are due by 7 PM FRIDAY. Due to travel this weekend (Cotton Bowl in Big D) stats etc. will all post SUNDAY. Good luck everyone!

Never know BUT I think this is LN's biggest challenge to date: catching Donohoe smarting off a loss.

This may bite me in the butt, saying this, I don’t think BS is as good as normal BS teams. They have flaws and have struggled with good teams. Last week for example, they shouldn’t allow 30+ pts to Ray-Pec. They aren’t that great offensively. Just think BS is a little down this year

Blue Springs, Rockhurst, and Liberty are in a battle for third to last in KC Class 6. Lee's Summit and Blue Springs South fill the bottom two spots.

Blue Springs has been decimated by injuries this year. I believe last week they were without 5 defensive starters (been that way for most of the year). Don't have that powerful run game as in the past either. If they can heal before districts I believe they can win districts. Then we will see.

The last game I put in was the Chrisman-Ruskin one. Not sure how to read the Bears this year.............I will say I think Lincoln Prep has not been tested at all so expect that one to be closer than calpreps has picked. This goes to show I do all my game selections the old fashioned "go with the gut" way not using any computer model(s).

Don't know if it matters, but Worth County at Pattonsburg has been moved to Graceland University in Lamoni, Iowa. It's where Lamoni High School plays its games. (It's an 8-man program, too). It's a Field Turf field.

I think that benefits Pattonsburg's passing game over Worth County's running game. I still think the loser will score at least 50.

Did somebody have a perfect week? I am only 3 down but I am pretty sure that I did not win. However, when Rudy gets back from Vienna I will see what happens. He will have something up his sleeves to screaming help me.

They were indeed close but the favorites did win................this was frankly the worst week for me this year. You will see these two winners squaring off this week, though.
