NWCMO Pick Em mid August update

IF botgate continues past the 20th this will move to one of the very low activity boards (likely admin or coaches)................
I think all football related posts should be on whatever forum you pick.

With the season about to start, user activity normally increases. The damn bots will drive users away and actual football threads will get lost

The verdict, after mulling everything over, IS IN.

NWCMO Pick Em will be PRIMARILY 11-man beginning this season with the following 8-man inclusion:

Each week will now have THREE games of the week (double points): NWCMO, Out of Region and 8-Man (statewide).

Not trying to slight 8-man in the least but don't think spreading out to two separate contests is a good idea UNTIL that class grows some more (highly likely in the years to come).

The Playoff Challenge will, however, remain unchanged as this is where I can include 8-man schools not likely to be in any games of the week during the regular season.

As stated many times I will get down to HSFB business once I return from Iowa this weekend!

IF the bot crap continues this moves to the ADMIN board.

TWENTY THREE games are now pinned down for Opening Week 2024! As of now staying put here PRAYERS the bots are gone.....................

Racing season is done for me on to the 2024 HSFB season bots be darned! There will be some changes I "think" you players will like. Look for the annual rules thread to post Saturday August 24 with games posting Sunday August 25. As previously posted a lot of opening week games but that will trim as the season rolls on in all likelihood.

LOOKING FORWARD TO SEASON 18 here on MOSports!

On track to post Saturday barring the unforeseen. Preseason little warning, though, please bear with me if there are any spell check issues etc. Not long after I made this post a week ago had what my Dr. calls a "TIA" now on a bunch of new meds with the customary follow ups etc. but still have a little speech and typing issues left over but will triple check prior to posting.

Main reason for finally posting (I hate dumping my private life out anywhere) is especially those of you my age (60) plus my Dr. said everyone, barring ulcer issues, should take a baby aspirin every day and get checked annually.

Glad you're still with us. Hoping you can make a quick and full recovery.

Glad you're getting better. It's rough getting older. I had some major heart issues beginning about a year ago that led to me having heart bypass surgery. I've been taking baby aspirin daily for years, and that may be why I'm still here. The good news ... there is now proof that I have a heart!

My Dad forced me to go to the Liberty ER. Thank God he did. Good to know you are doing well!

Yikes! Transient Ischemic Attack. Sometimes called a "mini stroke"! I only know this because lots of insurance carriers ask about those during health underwriting.

Very glad that's all you had and are doing okay. This place wouldn't be the same without ya!

Thanks all good! Main thing I wanted is to let everyone know it can be something you think will just pass...............I had three other right eye blindness with headache episodes over the years just let them go. STUPID.
