First time I saw it was in 2009, and I couldn't believe what my eyes were seeing.

I could be wrong, but I believe there was a player in the mid-2000's that announced his decision in a gym full of students and TV crews, between three major D1 schools. The only problem was that none of those schools had any interest in him, never even contacted him!
