Lol. I sure hope it doesn't happen but if either Baylor or Oklahoma St win out they will jump ND.

I do think Stanford will beat ND and solve that problem.

Love it. SOS is currently at 12. As a further sweetener (for Duck in particular as you questioned my reference to their superior academics in an earlier thread) ND has the highest GSR for the current year and is top 5 in fed statistics.

I think I'd rather be associated with ND right now than Mizzou. What a cluster...

Anyone that talks bad on ND at this point in the season. Either does not know football, or is just a hater. They have played and beat more Top 25 teams than anyone else, and the only loss they have came from the number one team in the country by 2 points.
Lot better Resume than the Cupcake Schedule Ohio St has had so far.

My point is that on paper and with the eye test they deserve to be in the playoff, and you can't come up with a better argument for it other than they will lose to Stanford.

I thought the mosports wisdom was if they aren't top 25 at the end of the year it doesn't count. Air force will not be top 25. USC is 6-3 and still play oregon and UCLA. Temple? Is that the signature win? Pitt is 6-3 and wont be ranked. WF is not ranked. BC is not ranked.

So if they lose to the only decent team they play that's a good schedule? Is that your take?

ND does not play Air Force. Yes this year Temple is a pretty good win. Navy is a pretty good win. Their schedule is similar to most everyone else. The committee must agree they play a pretty good schedule or they would not be ranked 4th.

The only DECENT team?? You mean the no 1 team right? As far as that goes VEER every team BAMA has played minus LSU may fall out so with them losing to a mediocre team and ND only losing to the #1 ranked team in the nation you will then change your mind and say ND deserves to be in right? I hope they win out if for nothing else than why not and because so many of you get your panties in a wad when Notre Dame gets any credit. I seriously doubt if any of the haters had a kid with a scholly offer to play at ND they would be against it. If your kid gets offered MU and ND only where you wanting them to go, especially now that the Indians rule the MU campus....
