Huskers fall behind early and never could catch up. Gallatin was the better team today.
Huskers fall 80-59. Gallatin's Isaac Bird (sr) was named tourney MVP. Higg. won this tourney in 2021, and 2022...their first two years in it.
Gallatin started well, and then a starter for the Huskers picked up 2 quick fouls and it was rough going from there on.
Gallatin hit from inside and outside as well...nailing several three pointers.
Josiah Golden for the Huskers had a nice tournament as well, scoring 39 in the semis and 24 in the 'ship.
The Huskers record is now 17-2 overall. We shall see where they will be ranked in class 3. Gallatin should be ranked higher in C2 IMO.
