ran their programs into the ground.

Hope the AD makes a Cuonzo-esque hire this time as well.

In other news:
B1g is crowing about beating Mizzou? Come on Mizzou is as bad as they've been in 20 years. They've quit.
Debo out with a broken leg. Bye bye SC
Did bama whip the snot outta FSu so bad they needed a month off? Come on man play that game. Florida played.
Umm. kstate? NO WAY the big bevo refs let them beat OSU or OU now. Watch and see.
Great to see Memphis honor the young man from Drexel fighting cancer. I have a new team to follow. Plus they beat the new media darling Rosen.
South Florida put it to Illannoy...IN TAMPA (see: FSU)
Clemson's defense is amazing but it appears maybe that Auburn win wasn't so big.
Maybe Pitt and Mizzou can compete for biggest P5 disappointments this year.

Might be a few coaches gone this week: Odom, Sumlin, Mora? Next time ND loses (and it will be soon even with that cupcake schedule) Kelly. I mean come on domers..you lost AT HOME to SEC LEAST UGA and they didn't even have their QB.

Nubs? They should be winless with losses to Arky state and Northern Illannoy. Order restored? Forgot to put that guy on the hot seat. Ouch.

Good to see the Glee-man Mizzou-hater club assembling again. CEO you still owe me $100 bucks deadbeat.

You think Sterk makes a move midseason? I'd be a little surprised to see that. Another Purdue performance, and I'd say it's warranted.

I think Odom has lost control of his team. It's just a matter of 'when' not 'if'.
Can't be a players coach in college or high school.

The No. 17 Miami Hurricanes haven’t practiced since Sept. 5 and as of Wednesday had not announced a timetable for a return to Greentree Field.

On Wednesday night, UM announced that classes will not begin again for undergraduate students until Sept. 25, a week later than the original return date of Sept. 18.

But yeah I get what ya mean, they should have played the game this weekend.....

Sure seems that way. I cringed when I saw the player reaction to him getting the job. Something tells me, if weren't such a nice guy or worked them really hard, they'd have been THAT happy about it. There's a reason players love some coaches. That reason normally isn't because they work their tails off. That normally isn't appreciated until the players are gone and they can reflect on how good that coach made them.

I don't think there is necessarily a hard and fast correlation between hiring a 'true son' and a program being unable to be resurrected. Possibly...but not definitively, even though it seems to hold true of this particular coach.

Biggest issue with the hire when made, there literally wasn't one other P5 job he was going to get or even be considered for. IIRC, he wasn't even going to get the Memphis job.

I won't argue with you on this specific situation with BO. Just not sold that the overarching concept of hiring a true son is an iron clad guarantee for failure. Maybe....but, maybe not.

Oh, I don't think hiring a "true son" is iron clad failure. I think hiring someone that doesn't have a resume even close to suggesting he's ready to be a HC in the best conference (shhhh, I'm on a roll here) in the P5 is certainly an iron clad guarantee for failure.

Agreed.

Done enough to keep his job?
I'm not sure given the recruiting hits he's taken.
He has gained control of the team and they're beating teams that have quit.

That said, FSU rescheduled La-Monroe just so they can get 6 wins? Priceless. WIll their APR not allow them to get in with 5?

It's embarrassing all around at FSU this year. 17-14 with the ball and Blackmon does the last thing you want him to do.

With that being said they have three loses to three teams that will be sitting in the top 4 today. And two of those will be different with their QB at helm....

Injuries? OK :)

Not butt hurt. Just dont care. Trying to be funny. Sorry to make you triggered. Good thing winters coming so all you snowflakes dont melt

Give it up. The players made a mistake.
It was two years ago. This is a different coach. Its time to move on. If you are still butt hurt then find a safe space.

there were other protests and racial issues on other campuses, only difference is the threatened boycott. sorry state of affairs when programs like baylor get over looked but ol mizzou had a protest...smh
