Pretty good game. Nixa was up 10 late in third but Republic came back and won by 5, they forced some turnovers and beat Nixa inside down the stretch

That would surprise me. Nixa is much better than Republic. Much. I’d expect a 15-20 point margin.
I was wrong here. Now I’m convinced Kickapoo is the best team, even with the Nixa loss. Not sure Nixa can go 13-15 on 3’s in the first half again.
Based on the scores between common opponents I would have thought Nixa would have won by more than the 5 or so that they did, but Republic played well in a packed and loud road gym tonight.

They do not. Lots of this will happen with MSHSAA changing the tourney rule. Teams will be able to play different teams more often and the local non-conference stuff, for the big teams especially, will dwindle. No need to play the same teams over and over.
