Nixa 41 Strafford 46

There’s a chance that Perryman couldn’t win with the best roster ever. There’s a reason she babies the ADs kid. Only way to keep her job. If the talent is anywhere close to equal, she loses.

Missed free throws down the stretch helped cost nixa this game
Only playing 5 people the 2nd half cost Nixa this game. She’s utterly clueless. Don’t worry though. The ADs daughter gets to pout and whine and be generally uncoachable while also never ever ever playing defense because hey, she gets to keep her job that way.

All I know is that Nixa has 3 D2 starters and the other two younger starters will play college as well, if they want to, quite possibly D2 as well. That's my way of saying I agree with you that they have plenty of talent, and yes they should have used the bench more. I saw the things you saw three years ago, first hand. They looked like world beaters against Blue Eye, at least.

Maybe Nixa shouldn’t have played some of their starters into the 4th qtr against Blue Eye.

In the Pink & White you are playing 4 games in 4 days with each game in theory getting tougher. If you have the benefit of a blow out win you need to rest your starters as much as you can. That way in that 3rd or 4th game their legs are fresher and hopefully you don’t miss those free throws, aren’t short on your jump shots, aren’t out hustled for loose balls and etc.

If you switched coaches between Nixa and Strafford, Larson wins with Nixa players by at least 15.

Nixa from top to bottom is the most talented team in SW Missouri. They can still make the Final 4, anything short of that is a disappointment

My other thought on that is that teams that press a lot are at a disadvantage in this tournament. You're asking them to do that four times in four days which obviously tires them out. It's a big reason why Camdenton, who presses all game long every game pretty much, didn't have a good showing in this tournament. At least Nixa did call off the press in the second half of the Blue Eye game but obviously still had the starters in and ran the score up.

“Top to bottom most talent”. Define talent….. First of all, Nixa won’t win their district so don’t stress about the final 4. Perryman does what she can to win. No one claimed her to be one of the best, but the kids have to perform, period. Strafford has two all staters, one of them spent the whole 2nd quarter on the bench. How is it that you assume Nixa is the favorite in this game? If anyone has proven that the size of your school and or ego means nothing, it’s Strafford. Kickapoo is very solid and with Bella’s skill now matching her God given athletic ability, they would be my pick for “top to bottom talent”.
