Granted, Gruden is a dick...BUT....

1. Gruden called Roger Goodell a “f@ggot" in 2018.
2. Why selectively choosing only to release Gruden's emails?
3. Big business interests do it. Media companies. The military. Political figures. Leaking info that damages your rivals and simultaneously makes you look good and virtuous, and timing such leaks for maximum effectiveness is a multibillion industry. It's the American Way. You couldn't run elections without dirt coming out on the candidates in the last week or so before the polls open.
4. If the NFL didn't want these Gruden emails out in the public, they wouldn't be out in the public.

Payback for all the lawsuits and the vitriol between the NFL and this great man...the architect of one of the FINEST organizations in AFL/NFL history. Al will haunt Roger Goddell from the grave.

It's brutal man. There was once and old saying about stick and stones. I'm 46 and I've never seen such a society hurt by words. Sometimes words not even meant in the literal meaning of the word. It's exhausting.

Before Sam starts down his snowflake ride. I get it, Gruden got what he deserved when the emails "surfaced". Davis couldn't retain him or his franchise would've gone bankrupt. His dad, who could actually lead people through fiery gates of hell in spiked seats, probably could've convinced Raider nation to stand behind it all and keep supporting the team. But that's neither here nor there. What I hate is this is where we're at. Releasing private emails to destroy a guy because he called Goodell some names. Make no mistake, this is completely the reason.

Open them all up if this is the case. Trump? Biden? Saban? Arians? Herm Edwards? Adam Schefter? CEO of Disney/ESPN? Sure...Let's see them all. Let's judge everyone based on every word they've ever typed, said, or written.

See what I mean...kind of exhausting.

I think it is worse when a coach is hired because just because of their race, gender or beliefs instead of because they are the best person available.
